Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth Speaker – 2nd Gen

The Bose SoundLink Micro Portable Bluetooth Speaker (2nd Gen) in the limited-edition Twilight Blue colorway is a premium, pocket-sized outdoor speaker designed for rugged travel and rich sound performance. This second-generation upgrade notably doubles the original’s battery life and switches to modern USB-C charging.

• Design & Portability: Features an ultra-compact, silicone-wrapped steel core body with integrated rubber feet to minimize vibrations. It weighs just 0.73 lbs and includes an improved, flexible utility strap for securing to backpacks, belts, or bicycle handlebars.
• Audio Performance: Delivers a surprisingly warm sound profile, clear vocals, and deep bass for its size. Audio can be customized via an adjustable EQ in the Bose App.
• Durability: Holds an IP67 rating, making it completely dustproof and waterproof (can handle submersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, though it does not float). It is also resilient against drops, rust, and physical shocks.
• Battery Life: Offers up to 12 hours of playback time under standard usage. It recharges fully in about 3 to 4 hours via its USB-C port.
• Connectivity: Utilizes Bluetooth 5.4 with Multipoint technology, allowing two devices to pair simultaneously to seamlessly swap playlists.
• Multi-Speaker Sync: Supports Stereo Mode or Party Mode when linked to another compatible Bose speaker, and connects to Bose smart soundbars using SimpleSync.
• Physical Controls: Equipped with volume, playback, power, and Bluetooth buttons, alongside a new programmable shortcut button that can be customized in the app (e.g., as a quick link to Spotify).
• Note on Hardware Changes: Unlike the 1st-generation model, the 2nd Gen does not include a microphone, meaning it cannot be used as a speakerphone or to trigger built-in voice assistants.
